Via Alta, meaning ‘High Street’ in Italian, is a collaboration between Hatted chef Alessandro Pavoni of Ormeggio at The Spit and Alex Keene (formerly of Ormeggio at The Spit).
The Italian trattoria’s menu is inspired by specialties of Pavoni’s hometown in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Pavoni & Keene handpick their suppliers and do extensive research to source the best produce that Australia and Italy have to offer.
The wine list offers a carefully selected range of Italian wines to complement the menu. Via Alta is also BYO.
Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Via Alta is open for dinner Monday to Sunday and lunch Tuesday to Sunday.
Via Alta have launched ‘Via Alta Espresso’ a little sidekick to the restaurant. Expect the same high standards and quality in this more casual, faster and lighter cafe situated right next door to Via Alta’s great neighbourhood location.
